Barclays Military Talent Day – 23rd April 2020 – Glasgow

Barclays Scotland Military Talent Day – 23rd April 2020

The Barclays Scotland Military Talent Day (MTD) consists of a series of presentations about the different business units and functions within Barclays in Scotland. The day is run in parallel with Barclays MTDs in London, and Manchester and will incorporate a brief on the new Barclays Glasgow Campus which is currently being built at Tradeston. Presentations will be delivered by Barclays senior leaders and ex-Military Barclays colleagues and will highlight the transferable skills that service personnel can bring to Barclays.

The presentations will also outline the various potential entry routes into Barclays for both service leavers and veterans.

The day concludes with an informal networking event, allowing delegates to talk to members of the Barclays Military Network and to hear more about their transition from the military into civilian employment.

Service leavers and veterans who wish to understand more about careers within the financial services sector are strongly encouraged to attend.

Tips to make the most of your day; bring a CV along, have a 30 second soundbite of you and your career, think about questions you want to ask, research the Company and understand its role within the Financial Sector, think about how you want to network and how you can link in with the team at the event.
