Leaving the military can often feel lonely and looking for that new role in the civilian world can be daunting.
OA Scotland aim to support you in that transition and so we have set up monthly networking events across Scotland for all ranks to help you connect not only with others who have been in your shoes but employers and business contacts to help you find that next role.
The life blood of our networks are former Armed Forces personnel who have successfully established themselves in a variety of new careers and organisations and understand why you are there and can help with those introductions. So, bring your wallet, a business card, if you have one and an open mind and we look forward to seeing you at one of our events
“Active networking is vital to career growth. Often confused with selling, networking is actually about building long-term relationships and a good reputation over time. It involves meeting and getting to know people who you can assist, and who can potentially help you in return.”
